A Year (Or Part of One) In Review
I got this from Christina, who got it from Linda, etc., etc. I'll post the first sentence of every month that I have blogged.
July:
Well, it all has to start somewhere, doesn't it?
August:
Today was a particularly trying day. Miles had a CT scan of his ear.
September:
First, I will put out there that I feel like a total ass for putting this "woe is me" post out in cyber space, when so many are suffering far more in New Orleans and surrounding areas.
October:
We thought about it all weekend and set ourselves a goal of making a decision about whether or not to pursue the surgery by Sunday.
November:
I'm pretty much just focusing on Miles' ear surgery blog right now (since that pretty much consumes my life), so you can find me there: http://www.milestrip.blogspot.com/.
Then this is the first time I've posted here in December. Okay, not very exciting, but it is telling to me. It's been a rough, but wonderful year.
A few things about me, since it's been so long since I've posted. Thyroid levels are slowly going down. Slowly, but surely. Finally! I hope to get back to normal soon.
ETA: I'm reading the funniest book ever right now, "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs" by Chuck Klosterman. Thanks to Heather for recommending it. I haven't laughed out loud to a book like this for years! Definitely add it to your reading list.
We're ready for the holidays and some time off work. Hope you all have a wonderful one!
