"1...2...3!"

I totally forgot the most exciting thing that Jack did this weekend. He's starting to count! We must count to Miles a lot (for time out purposes: you know, "Time out? One...two..." On Saturday, Brian started counting to Miles who was doing something he shouldn't. He said "One..." and Jack yelled "two!" I tried it a few more times with him. Then I tried "One...two..." and Jack yelled "Tee!" It's so darn cute, and pretty darn smart too, if I do say so myself.

Brian is a dork. We did a little garage saling this weekend (Got 28 kids books for $4!), and he was SO happy that he found a beat up old football that was like the one he had as a kid. He got it for 25 cents. He told me about how he loved it so much that he used to sleep with it. Well, Miles must have heard him, because last night he insisted on sleeping with the nasty old thing. He was so cute with his football and the dinosaur flashlight that he likes to sleep with now. It roars when you turn it on. I wonder if it turns itself off too, because it's never on when I go to check on him before I go to bed. Each night I have to remove it so he doesn't roll on it and wake himself up.
