Seven

I was tagged by Laina, dammit. I hate filling out these things, but since she's my bitch...

7 things I plan to do before I die
1) Travel to Asia (or heck, travel the world)
2) Lose 20 lbs
3) Go to a world class restaurant with a small group of friends and not feel intimidated or worry about money and feast to my heart's content
4) Spend a day at a spa getting the "works"
5) Have grand children
6) Have a house in the mountains or on a beach
7) Visit wine country with my friend who is a wine distributor as a "guide"

7 things I can do
1) Speak publicly, with very little nerves
2) Cook and bake (stolen from Laina, but I can do it too)
3) Carry a 3 year old and 1 year old together
4) Read faster than anyone I know (I stole this from Rebecca, but changed it a bit)
5) Play clarinet (sort of, it's been awhile)
6) Ace standardized tests (I used to teach for Kaplan)
7) Make my hands "fart" (LOL!)

7 things I cannot do
1) Swim properly. I can keep myself up, but I can't get the breathing thing, synchronization of limbs, thing down.
2) A good cart wheel
3) Touch my tongue to my nose (my mom and Elaine can)
4) Put my hair up in cute styles (I suck at hair styling, so have to keep it as simple as possible)
5) Stop using profanity (stolen from several people)
6) Resist a good bargain
7) Keep from obsessing about my kids

7 things that attract me to the opposite sex
1) A sexy neck/area right under the jaw line. If it's hot, I want to lick it.
2) Strong, big hands
3) Intelligence
4) Ability to make me laugh
5) The ability to actually fix things, including but not limited to, cars, general household maintenance, and children's toys. I might be a feminist, but I still like a "manly man." (Stolen directly from Laina)
6) Tall, thin men with wiry muscles.
7) I'm a sucker for a man in a band.

Jack has the cold now. He seems to be doing okay though, other than a runny nose. The in laws had a horrific experience at the airport yesterday. Their plane took off, then they were told that they would have to go back because the landing gear wouldn't go back up. When they landed there were all sorts of emergency vehicles waiting for them with lights flashing. After spending half the day at the airport, they never got another flight out. Delta put them up in a Super 8, even though other passengers got better hotels. They also didn't get any meal vouchers, even though other passengers did. They don't get anything for their trouble. If I were them, I would raise holy hell!
